Introducing our new season of research on belief, Douglas Trumbull's 1983 film 'Brainstorm' recalls the tale of scientists who invent a technology that enables the experiences of one person to be recorded and played back in the mind & body of another.

Christopher Walken & Natalie Wood star in this race to confront the "scariest thing any of us will ever face" whilst the Military do their utmost to thwart them at every stage, whilst developing their own nefarious uses for 'The Hat'.
